I wish I could say this whole story was made up and that I’m just kidding… unfortunately this is not an April Fools story in that way.
These unfortunate events happened even down to the hard questions that I asked God.
I’m so thankful that God was kind enough to answer my questions with the demonstration of the love that Jesus so Foolishly poured out on me.
Not once did He ever regret it.
Even with all the shame… not once did he ever complain or wish that he could take back his sacrifice.
Even with all of the rejection… It didn’t change His commitment.
I post this video as an act of overcoming the shame I’ve had concerning my story.
I’m learning to own the fact that I am guilty of Foolish Love.. but so is Jesus. And no need to apologize or cower in shame for loving in this way.
I wrote the Poem Foolish Love on my album Confessions of a Lonely Girl once the Lord showed me how He too knows what it feels like to love foolishly.
